Lania D’Agostino is a Baltimore-based painter and sculptor. Her figures share their stories through wide-eyes and surprising colors, transporting viewers to a place of contrasting emotions. No one can see her work and feel indifferent. 

Born in 1957 in a small town on Lake Michigan, Lania attended the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Her work has been on display at School 33 Art Center, Gallery 788, ArtScape, Area 405 Gallery, School 33 Art Center, Gallery 788, Gallery 1448, Minas Gallery, Villa Julie College Gallery, Manhattan Arts International, Maryland Art Place, Tapas Teatro, Creative Alliance, Y Art Gallery. She was a Sondheim Semi-Finalist (Myerhoff Gallery) and has received grants from the Gutierrez Memorial Fund Legacy and the Maryland State Arts Council.

Her studio is located in Federal Hill. She has two adoring children that currently live in China and France.
